121 Social Care are looking for a Childrens Home Registered Manager in the Derby Area.

We want high quality professionals who would bring creative approaches to helping children reconnect with learning and manage their behaviour and are committed to excellence in personalisation.

You should bring a wide range of knowledge and experience as a residential childcare practitioner with management experience and be suitably qualified. The successful candidate will need to be approved by the appropriate statutory body.

This will require Ofsted registration in accordance with their respective timescales and conditions.

In line with the Children’s Homes regulations the successful candidate will have:

The L5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalents
e.g. a recognised social work qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with children at level 5 or equivalent;

A qualification in management at level 5 or equivalent;

At least two years’ experience relevant to residential care within the last five years;

At least one years’ experience supervising and managing professional staff.
a good knowledge and experience of law and practice relating to looked after children;

Business and management skills to manage the work efficiently and effectively;

Full driving licence and own vehicle.
