Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a large national care provider that caters for clients with old age, physical disabilities and dementia. They’re looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager on a fixed term contract for their Medium sized nursing home based in Cambridge, which also holds a ‘Good’ CQC rating.
As the Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering exceptional person-centred care to all residents within the home. As with most of this providers portfolio of homes, it has been purpose built to promote a lifestyle for residents that offers a beautiful, homely environment. To promote independent living, the home also offers a number of on-site facilities including a hairdressers, restaurant style dining and salon.
As the Registered Home Manager, you will have gained strong experience in leading a busy care team. The Registered Home Manager must have excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and have a clear passion for providing exceptional care to the residents.
The Registered Home Manager will also be responsible for making sure the home is run smoothly and should be able to deal with any day to day issues that may arise. The successful candidate will ideally need to be a qualified nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC pin. Applications will be considered from non-clinical managers who can demonstrate strong experience of managing nursing homes.
In return the Registered Home Manager will be rewarded with an excellent salary, which will be negotiable depending on experience, plus additional company benefits. This position will initially be based on a 9 month fixed term contract, however there maybe additional job opportunities across other homes within their portfolio.
