IT Service Delivery Manager required for a growing consultancy in Edinburgh city centre.
A rapidly growing consultancy, they are Microsoft Gold Partners and have gradually been growing their presence, particularly in the Edinburgh market over the past few years. They are continuously trying to progress their employee's skills and are the type of company who really drive accreditation and reward you for it. You will be based on client site (when possible and safe to do so) and will be looking after a small team of IT Support Analysts. This is a role that will require a mix of strong IT Management skills as well as hands on technical ability.
Working on site with a new client, you will be an important member of the IT Managed Services team and will be comfortable adapting to the fast-paced environment and be able to deal with multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Adapting to the clients changing business needs, you will need to interact with the customers as well as 3rd party suppliers and the internal stakeholders. As part of your duties, you'll engage with regular service reviews and act as an escalation point for the client.
Your team of IT Support Analysts will also escalate issues to you on a daily basis and you will be tasked with dealing with these. This will include major incidents and you will need to ensure the incident is fully resolved to the satisfaction of the client, providing a Major Incident Report detailing the Incident, resolution and any recommendations going forwards. You will ideally also have technical knowledge of the following: Core Microsoft Server Product experience (Windows server, SQL Server, Exchange Server and Lync), Microsoft Desktop Deployment and support, Microsoft Systems Centre Suite
** Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies
** Strong exposure in working with internal and external customers
** Ideally consultancy experience
** Background in working towards SLAs
** Service Improvement
** Experience of working within a fast-paced environment, ideally a managed services environment
** Previous management experience ideally within a Service Desk capacity
