Pertemps Medical are urgently looking to speak with Clinical/Counselling Psychologists to work within a newly refurbished private men’s medium secure Personality Disorders clinic.

This role offers an immediate start with the ideal candidate being available full-time although part-time may be considered.

The successful candidate will be working with males with a personality disorder across two wards in a medium secure unit. Both wards deliver care for men with enduring mental health needs, co-morbidity and behaviours which challenge in a calm, therapeutic environment with a focus on service user experience, shared care and safety.

Person Specification

Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling or Forensic Psychology (or overseas equivalent)
HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
Experience working with PD/Complex needs – desirable

This role involves

Working with multi-disciplinary teams
Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy
Working autonomously within professional guidelines
