FULL TIME WAKING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER / CARER REQUIRED
Rate of Pay: £10.50 per hour waking nights

We are recruiting Support Workers / Carers to join a specialist care team. You will be supporting a gentleman who has a Spinal Cord Injury and lives in his own home in Penzance.
Provide all aspects of personal care and spinal cord injury care, including bowel care
Support in attending appointments and therapies
Support in social activities
Assist with domestic tasks, food preparation and pet careAbout you:
The right candidates will be caring, understanding, tactile, flexible and reliable; with a good sense of humour and a get up and go attitude.
You must be tolerant of dogs, and comfortable to be around them
If you have a passion to move in to care work, but are without experience; then please get in touch. We will provide you with full, specialist training and therefore previous care experience is not essential for this role.
Please note that this is a completely non-smoking environmentShift Pattern:
Working 12 hour waking night shifts of (Apply online only)
Induction training takes place during the day and you must be able to attend this.
You will be working within a small team providing care and support all year round, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. You may also be required to cover occasional day shifts.
NOTE – the successful candidate will need to be available for 4 x days of training (fully paid) – even though the position is mainly working nightsAbout the employer: This employer provide specialist care teams for individuals who live within their own homes. The client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury and other Neurological Conditions.

Working in 1 location – the client's own home (so, no travelling between clients)
